We had an awesome day today as we visited Pablo Neruda's house. Pablo was Valparaiso's most famous resident poet and the house, which is at the top of hill La Sebastiana, has commanding views of the harbour. (See picture).
Getting there involved a good treck uphill which gave us great exercise and this continued inside the house with steps up four levels. Each level provided fantastic views, the most awesome from Neruda's crow's nest study.
It was quite quirky inside and Geraldine and I decided we wanted a house like this one day (not so big but equally as quirky)
Check out this house on google.
